1. What are stretch marks?
Also known as striae distensae, striae atrophicae and white lines, or striae gravidarum due to pregnancy,stretch marks are the long stripes of red or white marks on the skin.

It depends. Striae gravidarum appears on the abdomen and the thighs, while stretch marks usually occur on the inner thighs, the buttocks and the back waist.
 
5. What are common groups of stretch marks?

6. Will stretch marks fade away by themselves?
